Ahmed Mohamed, the 14 year old teen who was arrested for going to school with the alarm clock he
built at home gets supports and invites by two of the most influential men of our time, US President Barack Obama and Mark Zuckerberg the founder and CEO of Facebook.
Ahmed who is aspiring to be an engineer built a digital alarm clock at home and excitedly took it to school with the intention of showing it to his teacher, but received the shock of his life when the school authority called police on him to get him arrested with the assumption that he had a bomb.
In reaction to the incident which went viral on social media, the US President in a solidarity support, tweeted "cool cloak, Ahmed. Want to bring it to the white house?. We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It's what makes America great."
Zuckerberg wrote o his facebook page "
You’ve probably seen the story about Ahmed, the 14 year old student
in Texas who built a clock and was arrested when he took it to school.
Having the skill and ambition to build something cool should lead to
applause, not arrest. The future belongs to people like Ahmed.
Ahmed, if you ever want to come by Facebook, I'd love to meet you. Keep building."
