WHAT'S YOUR "PROOF OF LIFE"?

In the movie "House of Cards", Season 4: Episode 13, president Frank Underwood, on negotiating the freedom of the captivated Americans, the "Millers", asked for the "proof of life" from their
captivators-- the Islamic Caliphate Organization (ICO).
A "proof of life" in that context meant a sign that showed that the hostages, whose freedom was being negotiated, were still alive.

Now I am asking you; what's your "proof of life"?
Make no mistakes. I'm not asking because you have a hostage in your closet. I'm asking you because I believe you should be the administrator of your life.
In the real sense of it, your "proof of life", is what shows that you are alive and active. It is what shows you are not here to make up the numbers.
Your "proof of life" is the one thing that makes you valuable as a citizen of the world. It could be the products/services you serve the world. Whatever it is that makes your life worth the while; whatever it is that shows that you are of great service and contribution to humanity.
Tendering a "proof of Life" is a way to announce to the president "Frank Underwoods" of this world that your life is purposeful, meaningful and fulfilling. It is your entrance ticket to the pantheon of the true greats.

As today marks the beginning of a new week, I would want you to answer the question again and again: What's your "proof of life"?
If you can answer this question with the assuredness that underlines a life of significance; the 'holy arrogance' that shows you valuable; the sense of purpose that makes life worth living, only then can you count yourself amongst the "living" not the "existing.
