The Presidency has denied closing down the Aso Villa Chapel as reported by some social media channels.
To back up its denial, the Presidency released a few pictures which showed service being held at the Chapel.
Speaking with State House correspondents after the church service on
Sunday, acting chaplain of Aso Villa Chapel, Pastor Joseph Malomo,
admitted that although there were some procedural issues during last
Sunday’s church service that needed to be sorted out, the Presidency
had, at no time, ordered the closure of the chapel.
He appealed to Nigerians to ignore the rumour and focus on issues that would bring unity to the country.
In his sermon entitled ‘Securing the glorious destiny of out
posterity’, Malomo explained that Nigeria had a glorious destiny that
was unique
