Death penalty should be abolished - Pope Francis

Speaking to Congress, Pope Francis is calling for an end to the death penalty in the US and across the
world.

Francis says that every life is sacred and society can only benefit from rehabilitating those convicted of crimes.
The Holy Father earlier in his speech said, "when you pray for the poor, you feed them, that's how prayer  works".
